It is one of the oldest hotels in Dubrovnik built in 1911. A cascade type wing with 143 comfortable rooms was constructed in 1986. At the same time a complete reconstruction of the former part was done. It is situated on the Lapad Penninsula, 3 km from the Old City and 500 meters from the nearest public beach.

ACCOMMODATION: The hotel has 393 beds in 196 rooms mostly equipped with air-conditioners and satellite TV sets (14 single rooms, 162 double rooms, 15 three bed-rooms and 5 apartments). Each room is provided with showers or baths and toilets.

FACILITIES: There are restaurant (vegeterian cuisin available), garden restaurant, aperitif-bar with a terrace, a tavern, conference hall accomodating 150 persons, souvenir shop, launge with satellite TV, beauty shop, outdoor pool, parking place in front of the hotel.

Other facilities are: telefax, internet, rent-a-car service, newspaper shop etc. The hotel is central heated. There is a bus station just in front of the hotel and a moor for a small boat communicating at 10 minute intervals with the city harbour, market and department store.

SPORTS & ENTERTAINMENT: A hotel excursion boat transports the hotel guests to the nearby beach which is ideal for swimming and pleasant walk. At a distance of approximately 400 m there are tennis courts in the pedestrian zone which is ideal for pleasant walks.
