The decline of the USSR and the end of the Cold War allowed for German unification in 1990. Since then, Germany has expended considerable funds to bring Eastern productivity and wages up to Western standards. In January 1999, Germany and 10 other EU countries introduced a common European exchange currency, the euro.

ACCOMMODATION: Hotel Terminus offers 94 elegantly furnished bedrooms, varying from standard rooms to more luxurious rooms, and 10 big family rooms. All superior rooms are spacious rooms and are equiped with modern furniture, a colour television with remote control and pay TV, a private bathroom with bath, a luxurious hairdryer, and a shaving mirror, a private safe, two direct dial telephones, and an electric water boiler. HOTEL FACILITIES & SERVICES: With the growing importance of international cooperation and meetings, also due to the European Union, Terminus found that there was a need for an accommodation to conference and have meetings with the possibility to spend the night. Therefore the hotel now offers the ideal combination of the advantages of a conference room and a luxurious and comfortable stay in Hotel Terminus. The Terminus offers first class conference and banquet facilities in our 'Berlage' and 'Tulip' conference rooms.
