| The Hotel Castello del Sole is the grandest hotel in Ascona and its property of 140 hectares is surrounded by a large park and green meadows. This peaceful haven is near the Maggia River, at the point where it flows into Lake Maggiore. It has the atmosphere of a private estate, 1 1/2 miles (2 Kms.) from the centre of town.
The property counts on spacious rooms, vaulted ceilings, granite columns, and marble terraces. Rooms have balconies and beautiful furniture, along with deluxe bathrooms. The suites are in a building east of the main hotel. |

Ascona's golf-course (18 holes) is situated nearby. Other golf-courses are in Lugano and Italy. Our beauty programme includes massages, underwater massages, individual anti-stress and beauty treatments on a daily or weekly basis. Fitness-centre, sauna, turkish bath, solarium and a hairdresser are also available.
In addition to our numberous facilities we now have (since spring 2001) an exercise basin (34°C) with underwater massages and a whirlpool. |
